In 2000, Susan Rose lost her eldest daughter, Lauren Rose Albert, to an automobile accident in Morocco. Shortly after her death, Rose created the Lauren Rose Albert Foundation (LRAF) to honor her memory.
“Our focus is really on helping women, just in a nutshell,” said Rose.
The LRAF’s motto, “Mothers Matter,” reflects this goal. Rose’s daughter had three children of her own and, like most mothers, wanted them to live in a better world.
