Gloucester County College and the Lauren Rose Albert Foundation are teaming up to make this Mother’s Day special for some South Jersey moms. GCC students, faculty, and staff are collecting women’s health and beauty care products during February and March that will later be used to fill baskets for mothers in need.

During the College’s annual kickoff event on Friday, Feb. 17, members of the GCC Japanese Anime and Gaming (JAG) Club presented Lauren Rose Albert Foundation founder Susan Rose (center) with a check for $700. In January, the JAG Club held their third KotoriCon event allocating a majority of the proceeds to Mothers Matter. Pictured presenting the check to Rose are (left to right) GCC Club Advisor Dr. Susan Glenn, JAG Director of Guest Relations Paul Ranck of Deptford, President Amanda Cancelmo and Vice-President Nina Ruggiero, both of Williamstown.
