GCC Assists Mothers Matter Project

SOUTH JERSEY MOTHERS RECEIVE BASKETS OF LOVE

Deptford Twp. –Many hands make light work and in this case will bring smiles to the faces of over 1800 mothers in the South Jersey area thanks to the generosity and time volunteered by area schools, businesses, organizations, and clubs.

Mothers Matter, a community project sponsored by the Lauren Rose Albert Foundation, helps to make Mother’s Day special by providing baskets of health and beauty care products to women’s shelters, children’s pediatric hospital wards, daycare centers, and inneed moms. This year, Gloucester County College students, faculty, and staff teamed up with others in the area to assist in the collection, packaging, and delivering of gift baskets.
