220 Rays of Sunshine from South Valley Elementary School Kindergarten Students
South Valley Elementary School’s Motto “The Sun Shines on South Valley” travelled to Cherry Hill with School Counsellor Maureen Ioannucci and very special delivery of a trunkful of sunshine for Mothers Matter recipients.
South Valley Elementary School Kindergarten students held a special Mothers Matter collection drive with a goal to collect enough products to fill 100 gift packs. The students far exceeded their goal and filled more than 220 gift packs for Mothers Matter recipients, many with special artwork and messages. The gift packs are a perfect size for Mothers Matter mini gift bags for Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms according to Mothers Matter Co-Chair Kathy Schultes. “This is so wonderful “she said, “we are running low on products for the RMH gift bags and this beautiful and generous donation from South Valley School kindergarteners will help fill our gift bags and brighten the lives of the women who receive them.”
Additionally, the South Valley Elementary staff raised $175 for Mothers Matter at their annual “Souper Bowl” event.
A huge “THANK YOU” to South Valley kindergarten students, their teachers, and parents and to all South Valley Elementary School staff from Mothers Matter!
