NJ Legislature Honors the Lauren Rose Albert Foundation

NJ LEGISLATURE HONORS THE LAUREN ROSE ALBERT FOUNDATION FOR 15 YEARS OF MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN WOMEN’S LIVES

THE SENATE AND GENERAL ASSEMBLY STATE HOUSE, TRENTON, N.J.

JOINT LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION
By Senator MADDEN, Assemblyman MORIARTY and Assemblywoman MOSQUERA

WHEREAS, The Lauren Rose Albert Foundation, a highly esteemed organization in the Garden State, is being honored and saluted for making a difference in women’s lives through its signature Mothers Matter program for fifteen years; and,
WHEREAS, The Mothers Matter Program, which was created in 2001 to provide women’s personal care and beauty products for mothers in need, currently distributes more than 4,500 gift bags each year to women facing difficult challenges; and,
WHEREAS, In addition, the Mothers Matter program also includes a Suited for Work Initiative that provides new or gently used work-appropriate clothing and emergency grants for women and their families; and,
WHEREAS, The strength and success of the State of New Jersey, the vitality of our communities, and the effectiveness of our American society depend, in great measure, upon concerned and dedicated organizations, such as the Lauren Rose Albert Foundation and the Mothers Matter program; and,
WHEREAS, The Lauren Rose Albert Foundation will celebrate its Fifteenth Anniversary on March 21, 2015; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
That this Legislature hereby honors and congratulates the Lauren Rose Albert Foundation, pays tribute to its outstanding Mothers Matter program, and extends best wishes for continued success and vigor in the years ahead; and,
Be It Further Resolved, That a duly authenticated copy of this resolution be signed by the Senate President and the Assembly Speaker and attested by the Senate Secretary and the Assembly Clerk.
