EXCITING NEWS FROM MOTHERS MATTER!
Our 11th Mothers Matter 5K Run & Walk will be a hybrid event! We’re back at Washington Lake Park in Sewell with the glorious event that has become a well-known local tradition and we’re also continuing last year’s successful Virtual Run & Walk that attracted so many new participants from all over the country. And we have good news for all those who really want to be part of this wonderful event but just can’t bring themselves to get out and run or walk. You can now sign-up in the Virtual event as a Sleepwalker!
TOGETHER AGAIN AT WASHINGTON LAKE PARK!
We’ll be using a different course this year that is mostly on flat, paved paths in and around the scenic Washington Lake Park. The 5K will be a chip timed race with top male and female runners and awards to top male and female runners in all age groups.

The Fabulous Mothers Matter Gift Basket Raffle at the 5K will be bigger and better than ever. Every in-person registered runner and walker will receive a free raffle ticket! The Raffle, events for kids, patriotic flag ceremony, a DJ and more! As always, our Mothers Matter 5K Run & Walk will be a wonderful, festive event.
TOGETHER ACROSS THE MILES -VIRTUALLY!
Stay close to home and choose your own location: Runners select your own 5 Mile course and submit your times. Walkers choose your own distance. Set your own goal and go for it! Sleepwalkers – you just do your thing! We ask everyone to please send us photos of your experience.

Everyone who registers prior to October 1, 2022 will receive a Mothers Matter “Together We Can “ T-Shirt.
Washington Lake Park Runners and Walkers will receive their T-Shirts, Race Day gift bags and free Mothers Matter Basket Raffle Ticket at registration. Times for the chip timed 5K Run will be posted by 10:00 a.m.
All Virtual Runners receive an E-Bib when registering. Virtual Runners, Walkers and Sleepwalkers T-Shirts will be available for pick-up after Race Day at Mothers Matter Headquarters in Sewell or mailed via USPS at a $7.50 flat fee. Participants will receive pick-up details after registering.

Pre-race festivities begin at approximately 8:15 AM, so we encourage you to arrive and register early.
