An estimated 400 runners, walkers, volunteers and friends enjoyed the patriotic start to our 4th annual Mothers Matter 5K Run & Walk on October 19, 2014. An added attraction this year that we will definitely bring back in 2015 was a Face Painting table that was a great draw for kids and parents throughout the morning.
We were so happy to hear the many nice compliments from runners who told us that the Mothers Matter 5K is one of the best organized runs in the area !
We work very hard to ensure that everyone from the dedicated runners to the family out for a walk in the park benefits from the experience.
The success of our annual 5K Run is so important to the Lauren Rose Albert Foundation. As the primary fund raising event of the year, we rely on the generosity of our donors and dedication of our wonderful volunteers to generate the funds and the participation to achieve our goals and ensure the continued growth of the LRAF Mothers Matter programs and activities.
