The Lauren Rose Albert Foundation’s 2023 Mothers Matter Virtual Run-Walk-Bike Challenge celebrates our exciting new community partnership with the I Dare to Care Association to provide education and training scholarship grants in the healthcare field for women who experiencing financial hardship.
Each of the three event challenges celebrate goals achieved by our organizations. The ten-day virtual event gives you the flexibility to achieve your goal on your own time schedule, at your own pace and in your own space. Meet our challenge walking goal of 50,000 steps, running goal of 16 miles or biking goal of 23 miles – or set your own distance and go for it!

As we enter year 24 of this wonderful journey, we look forward to enriching our mission to encourage women to achieve educationally and economically with our exciting new collaboration with the I Dare to Care Association (ID2C).
Our 2023 Mothers Matter Virtual Challenge celebrates our collaboration with I Dare to Care and congratulates this inspiring Camden based non-profit on 16 years of providing mentorship and support services to girls and their families.
Our partnership merges the LRAF Women’s Education and Emergency Assistance and Mothers Matter programs with the ID2C Mission to equip and empower women to become vibrant, vital, and valuable members of their community. Our initial goal is a two-year pilot program to provide grant opportunities in the allied health entry level training and certification programs.
In addition to I Dare to Care, the LRAF will be partnering with the Jeanette Rankin Foundation to help women 35 and older complete their college education as well as continuing long-time affiliations such as People in Transition to serve as a lifeline for women with emergency financial needs and nowhere else to turn for help – and of course – continuing to brighten lives with our distinctive Mothers Matter gift bags.
