LRAF Founder Susan Rose and Board Member Steve McBride represented Mothers Matter at the presentation of donations from the NJ Women of the Moose at their annual State Convention on Saturday, March 4th, 2017.
Chapters from throughout the state brought donations as part of the organization’s State Community Service Project that each year selects worthy charities to support. “We were amazed at the amount of donations,” said Board Member Steve McBride.” They asked me to bring my van and it’s a good thing I did as it was totally filled!”
Rose added that the products were all “perfect” and exactly what was listed in the Mothers Matter “Wish List” of products used in gift bags. “The timing for this splendid donation couldn’t be better.” she noted, “We are beginning our Mother’s Day project with a 2017 goal of filling 2,500 gift bags for special Moms.”
