LRAF Founder “Biker Girl” Susan Rose

When the Mothers Matter Saints & Sinners Motorcycle group roared into the headquarters parking lot for the Open House on March 12, Susan Rose could not resist hopping on a bike, “I’m not quite ready to go for a ride, but it was great fun just to sit on this beautiful bike.”

The Saints & Sinners have been an integral part of the Mothers Matter family since 2010, volunteering many countless hours, helping out at Headquarters, delivering Mothers Day gift bags, and volunteering at out at our yearly 5K fundraiser.

The Saints & Sinners special Mothers Day delivery day is the Saturday before Mother’s Days, riding to the Memorial Veterans Home in Vineland, Eleanor Corbit Women’s Shelter in Glassboro, and ending up at Ronald McDonald House in Camden.

The Mothers Day visit to Ronald McDonald House is the last stop of a week-long effort by all Mothers Matter volunteers, in which more than 2000 gift bags were delivered to women facing difficult challenges. It is also one of the most touching and heart-warming stops of the week.
