Girl Power!

During the summer, the Girls on the Run Princeton group assembled Mothers Matter gift bags using products they purchased and donated for Moms with children in the Virtua Mt. Holly Special Care Nursery. Each gift bag had a very special personal handwritten note of encouragement from a Girls on the Run member.

The gift bags are distributed through three Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at neonatal units of hospitals throughout South Jersey, including the NICUs at VirtuaCooper and Inspira/Vineland. The three locations receive Mothers Matter gift bags every month, which are distributed to Moms with special needs children. Mothers Matter provides a total of 75 gift bags every month.

Mothers Matter Junior Committee Members Giovanna and Gabriella Raspanti (pictured below) helped prepare the July gift bags for both Cooper and Inspira.
