A different Mother’s Day project for Mothers Matter
When the coronavirus greatly curtailed almost all of the Lauren Rose Albert Foundation’s Mother’s Day gift basket distribution for first time in 20 years, Mothers Matter volunteers found a new way to carry on this beloved tradition, while staying safe but still being able to help others. Working two at time and far apart, our amazing Mothers Matter volunteers are rolling up their sleeves, slipping on gloves, putting on their masks and preparing special “Healthcare Hero” gift bags for healthcare workers, Helping Hugs” gift bags for needy families and a precious few Mother’s Day gifts.
